Then leave to visit Namal Uyana, Aukana, Saseruwa and return to hotel for dinner & over night. |
After breakfast leave to Anuradhapura, visit the first Capital of Sri Lanka, 5th Century BC, a major religious center consists of a citadel surrounded by several large Buddhist monastic complexes and man made lakes, The three colossal stupas are of the same order of magnitude as the pyramids of Egypt, then leave to Mihintale, the cradle of Buddhism. Return to Hotel for dinner / overnight. |
After Breakfast leave to Dambulla, visit the largest Cave Temple in South Asia, best known for its well preserved paintings for more than 2000 years. Then leave to Kandy, en-route visit a Spice Garden, Matale Aluvihare Temple, check in at Swiss Residence Hotel. Evening visit the Temple of the Tooth and a Cultural pageant performed by well reputed Dancers and Drummers, return to hotel for overnight . |
